Director of Nursing
As Director of Nursing with emeis Ireland you are responsible for directing and coordinating the management of the nursing home, while establishing and maintaining a high standard of residential care. The Director of Nursing will also be responsible for the management of all staff in maintaining the standard as set out and Statutory Regulations. (There will be ample support given from our support office team including HR, accounting & quality teams.)
The Director of Nursing will have a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships and strong communication skills at all levels, the ability to foster excellent teamwork, have demonstrated leadership characteristics and have and good knowledge of HIQA standards.
To be considered for a Director of Nursing role you must have a valid NMBI Registered PIN and have at least 3 years Management experience in the last 6 years in care of the older person. You also would need to have completed a management qualification in health or a related field.
